How does the format work?

First, all participating start-ups will pitch their companies in approximately seven-minute pitches, directly followed by short Q&A sessions. The format ends with a breakout networking session. We set up a virtual room for each start-up so that interested investors can talk directly to the founders.

The format in brief

At the Investor Talks, 10 to 15 companies of Deutsche Börse Venture Network from various industries present their business models to selected investors. Companies can currently conduct or plan a financing round, but this is not a prerequisite. Following the pitches, companies and investors are given the opportunity to network and meet in 1-on-1 talks - this year also virtually.

Since we are again offering a digital version of the format and are not limited to a single location, more investors than usual are expected to participate. We are expecting both national and international investors, focusing on either early or late stage companies. Through the cooperation with Silicon Valley Bank, the focus will be on US investors.
